Sometimes mornings for me are a little bit crazy especially when I have 6 year old to get to school before 8:30am, but when I get the chance my morning plays out like this:

Waking up 

I don’t know how you feel, but I absolutely despise having to get up every morning to a grating alarm. I had “Here comes the Sun” by The Beatles play as my alarm instead of the default sound. When I do, I wake up slowly and steadily each day.

Pick Up a book 

Because I despise glancing at my phone as soon as I get up in the morning, I make it a habit to keep a book on the floor next to my bed, all set to read. Reading a book as soon as you wake up gets your mind functioning and is an excellent method for waking up your brain. To get you in the right mindset for the game, I would recommend picking up a book on personal development.

Book Recommendation:

Wash my face 

As soon as I finish reading a chapter, I put the book down and proceed to the bathroom, where I splash cold water on my face and clean my teeth in order to feel more refreshed before going to the gym.

Make my bed 

Extremely important. If I don’t make my bed before I leave the house, I have a horrible feeling that I haven’t accomplished anything at all for the day. As a result, I can’t let it happen. I strongly recommend that you follow suit because doing so will result in your room appearing a lot tidier after you’ve finished.

Work Out

Working out is fantastic for getting yourself moving and living a healthier life, despite the fact that it can be difficult for me to actually get myself there. After a good workout, I usually feel even better and have more energy. After warming up with ten minutes of running, I switch gears and lift some weights.

Make breakfast

Whenever I go back home, I almost always feel hungry, so I prepare the breakfast that I eat every day. My breakfast often consists of avocado toast and a green smoothie that is loaded with various fruits and veggies. I try to keep my meals as uncomplicated and straightforward as possible.

Shower & do my morning skincare routine 

After I’m done, I immediately get into the shower (try to use cold water). Then I start my skincare routine giving my skin a thorough cleansing, toning, and moisturizing, I apply SPF and I am done.

Get dressed & do my make up 

What is my input? Make sure you have everything laid out the night before. On some days, things go well and quickly, but on other days, our luck is not as good. After I get dressed, I do my make up. Putting on my everyday makeup takes roughly 10 minutes of my time. I like to keep things straightforward, so my typical makeup routine consists of applying foundation, blush, mascara, brow gel, and a dab of chapstick. After that, I’ll be on my way.

I really hope that you will give my routine a try, or at the very least try to include one or more of these stages into your morning routine. Keep in mind that you should begin each morning with a cheerful attitude!
